Classic FM Breakfast with Tim Lihoreau 7am - 9am
The Association of British Orchestras is where the orchestral world congregates to debate the key matters. Classic FM's Anne-Marie Minhall was there to conduct a few interviews.
In 2014, after a break of 25 years, the ABO Conference returned to the capital for three days of crucial debate and discussion, networking and learning, and analysing of the future of the orchestral sector in the UK and around the world.
As orchestras and arts organisations in other countries contend with financial crisis and industrial disputes, and as our politicians obsess about how we need to get better at asking and acquire better ‘enterprise’ skills, our conference this year looks at new directions, whether it be across our earned and contributed funding sources, audiences or in music education.
