Join Classic FM’s very own John Suchet for the performance of Puccini’s Madam Butterfly at the Royal Albert Hall. Enjoy the sublime and timeless music as you follow the story of the doomed lovers, Butterfly and Pinkerton, to its tragic end. This iconic opera will immerse you in the enchanting water garden as you enjoy your evening beside John Suchet.
Enjoy a two-night bed and breakfast stay at The Cavendish, including afternoon tea in a luxury Executive Room.
As a little something extra, you and a lucky guest will be flown out in British Airways World Traveller Cabin, to to visit Puccini’s birthplace, Tuscany, where you will be put up for four nights at the Monteverdi Hotel, a world-class collection of exquisitely restored, authentic Tuscan villas and a 10-bedroom, boutique hotel. Stay in one of Monteverdi’s luxurious bedrooms, finished with the finest linens, fabrics and furniture in the world. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Val d’Orcia and Monte Cetona.

Terms and conditions
- This prize is for 2 people for an evening performance of Madam Butterfly at The Royal Albert Hall on either Friday 6th or Friday 13th March 2015.
- Accommodation for 2 nights at The Cavendish, London on a B&B basis. On one of your days you will also get an afternoon tea. All other meals and incidentals are to be paid for by the winner.
- The box at the Royal Albert Hall will include wine and a food platter.
- Travel to the Royal Albert Hall is not included.
- The prize also includes a 4 night stay at Monteverdi Hotel in a luxurious room on a B&B basis. All other meals and incidentals to be paid for by the prize winner.
- The stay must be booked before 31st January and is valid until 9th October 2015 subject to availability. Please note the hotel is closed between December and March.
- Flights are from London to Pisa with British Airways in World Traveller Cabin class.
- Please note that we can’t guarantee that we will be able to book specific fight times and can’t be held responsible for changes to flight schedules.
- Once travel and accommodation have been booked, the prize cannot be amended.
- Transfers to/from the airport to the hotel are not included.
- Whilst we will do all we can to book your trip on your preferred dates, this is not always possible and we ask that you provide 3 options as soon as possible after the auction and at least 4 weeks’ notice to make a booking. More popular holiday periods for the destination get booked up quickly and there are no guarantees we will be able to offer your first choice.
- It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure they have the correct visa, valid passport and travel insurance.
- Wheelchair access may be limited or unavailable.
- A member of the Global Charities team will/may be present to manage your experience and take photographs for marketing purposes. If you would prefer to remain anonymous or not be included in photographs please discuss your preferences with your contact at Global Charities.
- John Suchet's management team and/or other chosen guest may also be present at the event.
- The content of the prize may be subject to change and/or substituted with a prize of equal or greater value.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to change the date and substitute with another date.
- We require winner name, contact number, postal address & email to facilitate the prize.
- Not for resale, not transferable, there is no cash alternative. This is a charity auction and as such no refunds are given.
- Due to the nature of prize donations, please be aware that it can take several weeks to confirm dates.
