Thirty of the most talented harpists from across the UK come to London's Cadogan Hall to play a repertoire that ranges from Celtic to Classical to film.
Unique in Europe, the National Youth Harp Orchestra is made up of 30 of the most talented harpists from across the UK.
You can see them at the magnificent Cadogan Hall, Sloane Terrace, London on the 18 July 2015 at 7.30pm.
The NYHO was founded by their director, professional harpist Luisa Cordell, to provide a training platform and a wealth of opportunities for dedicated harpists. They regularly perform at prestigious events and concert venues across the UK, Europe and America. Highlights include playing for a reception at The British Embassy in Washington DC for the Clinton Family.
All styles of music are explored in their concerts, from Classical and Celtic, to Contemporary and Film Scores. The world-renowned harpist Marissa Robles has praised their “simply beautiful and passionate playing”. They have appeared on various TV broadcasts including Blue Peter and Songs of Praise and their concerts have been broadcast in Holland and France.
Forthcoming events include a concert tour to Budapest in 2016.
