Gramophone Awards 2014 winners: full list

See the 12 recordings that have been crowned category winners at this year's Gramophone Classical Music Awards 2014, as well as the special awards including Artist of the Year, Recording of the Year, Young Artist of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award and Outstanding Achievement Award.

Sir Neville Marriner has been honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Gramophone Awards 2014. The conductor, who celebrated his 90th birthday earlier this year, picked up the award from Alfred Brendel, at a glamorous ceremony at St John's Smith Square, London.

Riccardo Chailly and the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra were honoured with the Recording of the Year accolade, for their recording of Brahms' symphonies on the Decca label.

Jonas Kaufmann, Iestyn Davies and Riccardo Chailly and the Gewandhaus Orchestra announced in August, in 12 categories including Choral, Orchestral, and Early Music.

James Jolly, Editor-in-Chief of Gramophone, said: "2013-14 has produced a rare vintage with some outstanding recordings providing evidence of the record industry’s continuing imagination and creativity. The competition for Recording of the Year is very tough indeed!"
