Tchaikovsky and Brahms were both giants of 19th century classical music, producing many masterpieces which are beloved by listeners today. The two composers both penned majestic symphonies and stately concertos, beyond that Tchaikovsky indulged himself more on the ballet stage and Brahms composed a greater number of intimate works of chamber music.
