An exquisite Bach cantata with a divine, undulating melody… except it’s played on a shiny new Launchpad Pro.

A Launchpad Pro takes centre stage in this modern reading of Bach’s ‘Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring’, the 10th movement of his cantata Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben.

The movement is often used as entrance music for weddings on the organ, but this version, with the electronic instrument’s versatile tones and pressure-sensitive pads, brings out the graceful melodies from all the different choral parts. It actually sounds a bit like a harp.

It might *seem* like it would sound rubbish, but it’s really quite pretty.
