Norwegian trumpeter Tine Thing Helseth has made her first step into the world of festival planning, with Tine@Munch. Taking over the Edvard Munch Museum in Oslo, she managed to attract a top-notch line-up including Nicola Benedetti, Leif Ove Andsnes and Charlie Siem, among others.
Over three days and seven concerts in two locations in the Munch Museum, the cream of Europe's classical music talent gathered to play Tine@Munch - and Classic FM was there to cover the whole thing.
Completing the line-up were cellist Truls Mork, pianist Kathryn Stott, comedian and pianist Ingrid Bjornov, soprano Isa Katharina Gericke and pianist Gunnar Flagstad.
The festival also featured an informal late-night concert from TTHQ (the Tine Thing Helseth Quintet), who provided a riotous show of jazzed-up interpretations of everything from Bach to the Beach Boys.
