Superstar pianist Lang Lang stunned the crowds at this weekend's Latitude Festival with an amazing performance in the middle of a lake
Piano star Lang Lang wowed the Latitude crowd with his midday performance on the beautiful Waterfront stage.
The Chinese star arrived by gondola for his set on the water bound stage – we’re not sure how he got his grand piano there!
Lang Lang thrilled the large crowd that lined both banks of the lake with a set comprising, of piece by, amongst others, Chopin and Liszt.
Lang Lang ended his set with Liszt’s Widmung (“Dedication”), a piece he appropriately dedicated to the crowd.
Lang Lang charmed the crowd with his trademark exuberance.
The festival, held in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, bills itself as more than just a music festival, with comedy, book and poetry readings vying for people’s attention with rock bands and ballet dancers.
The sun made a welcome guest appearance during Lang Lang's set.
Lang Lang's punishing schedule continues with European and US dates.
Lang Lang enjoyed his water-bound performance. After his set he tweeted: "Had a wonderful time at @LatitudeFest. Beautiful day! First time taking a gondola to a stage".
